Couple months ago, when I was just discovering my abilities, I got introduced to a paranormal group locally. The leader made claim that he could teach certain techniques of how to handle and resolve issues of a paranormal nature.
I was initially feeling positive about it, as I thought - ok, why not be open to know more, right? More knowledge is always a good thing.
As I got further involved in the group, my own psychic awareness told me that the leader of this group himself was being haunted by an entity that had been sent to him.
So my team decided to help out anonymously and we managed to send the entity away from his family. When the leader found out that we had helped, his reaction was strange. He admitted that an entity was indeed bothering his family, yet he claimed that he himself had gotten rid of the entity during the same time that my team got rid of it. Of course, I just gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought - ok, at least we tried to help.
But that kinda started the ball rolling.
This guy, instead of being open and welcoming, he started to treat me and a friend of mine who is in the same group - like enemies.
We were perplexed of course. Like... why??
Yes, our methods are different in our approach to resolving paranormal issues - but honestly, his reaction was very strange. You see, his group had been following him for a very long time and each and every one of them had or is still being plagued by spiritual issues - yes, for someone who claims to resolve such issues - he is consistently surrounded by people who keep experiencing repeat episodes of spiritual disturbances and/or possessions.
Now, logically, how can that be? Shouldn't his group be free of such things after his treatments?
In any case, by then, the group trusted him with their lives and me, being the newcomer - was still technically a stranger.
They started to launch into cyber-bullying my friend and I - everyday making snide remarks, sarcastic talk - just short of saying it directly to us. And him being the leader - he obviously goaded them into it.
At the end, we figured it was because we posed a threat to his business. What we concluded was that he saw himself as a healer of sorts, and yes, the group of people who believed in him, they had had spiritual issues previously. Yes he did help them, but being in this line of work, you don't come across cases of spiritual nature every day. So to keep his popularity and mystique going, what he has been doing, is sending entities to these same people to ensure the continuity of his business!
Can you believe it?!
Needless to say, my friend and I left the group - yes there were many people that needed actual help in there - but they chose to trust in their leader, and dismiss us.
In Rei-Ki, we learn that while most people need help and should receive it, there are a minute few that will reject help coz they are too rooted in their beliefs or negative positions and just too blinded to see the truth.
I do sincerely hope that such people will eventually receive the help they need someday soon.
