More on Positive Reiki Outcomes

So I haven't written in a while.

That's due to me having had a really packed schedule to work with the past weeks.

For this post, I'd thought I could share more positive outcomes I have had with reiki, partly due to me being away at the reiki seminar this weekend right up to the end of this week!

Pet

When I first got into reiki, the first one to acknowledge the new energy within me was my cat!

He would come up to me, purposely push his head against my hand, try to get me to pet him, and make me reiki him. 

Animals love the energy and would almost always attempt to try to get your attention to get in some reiki-time - in short, they can become reiki addicts! LOL!

Children

Another outcome that has occurred is that my elder daughter seems to have better focus in school, and that has resulted in her achieving astounding results for her recent mid-year exams. She had leapt from being no.7 in class last year to now being no.3! Of course, it helped that she had supportive teachers, but previously we had always had problems with her handing in work on time or even finishing her homework. Also last year, we had a tuition teacher to come in to coach her, but still, there was a certain lack of motivation. I believe that reiki had helped her in some way.

My younger one, who is about to turn 4, has also learnt to identify the reiki energy and can't go to sleep without it. She always asks for it, and of course, I give it to her.

Overall, it has helped me to bond closer with my family, with me being in a generally more positive mood than I was before the course.  

Even with my friends, I have had positive outcomes.

Spiritual Disturbances

Once, a close friend approached me with some spiritually-related issue concerning her house and her children. She has 2 children who were born with the sight, and they would often not be able to sleep at night - due to being disturbed by negative elemental energies that were residing in the house.  They would be woken up in the middle of the night, and find this energy standing over them or it might be on the ceiling, running around or whatever. 

It was definitely freaky!

At the time, I couldn't go to her home to reiki her kids, so what I did was I got her two 1.5 litres of bottled drinking water (not mineral water - those are not good for our bodies!), and just told her to let her kids drink it and maybe put it in her room. And it worked!  

When I got round to asking for feedback, my friend said her kids didn't get disturbed by the energies that week!

Of course, I wanted to recommend her to get reiki but circumstances were not in her favour then, but who knows in the future, right?

Office First Aid Kit 

In the office, I try to do as much reiki as I am allowed to.  I'd have colleagues who suffered from bad headaches or coughs or stress, and I'd just voluntarily reiki water for them to drink coz it's not really convenient to reiki by touch. 

One incident I'd like to highlight - I had one colleague who is pretty sceptical about reiki, due to her religious nature and basically if there is no visible proof - then it shouldn't exist. 

Right? ;) 

Then one day, when we were out to lunch, it had been a particularly cold day. She had her cardigan on but it wasn't enough and as we were walking to the Burger King, I noticed that she kept shivering.

So while we were queueing up for food, I just casually asked her, "Hey, if you want, I'll just reiki you now, so you can hopefully warm up..." And she just said yeah whatever, coz she was too busy shivering. I just put one hand on her shoulder, and continued our regular conversations.

We were 5 minutes in the queue before our turn came, and I noticed she had already stopped shivering about 3 minutes after I put my hand on. Then I just asked,"Are you still cold?" She kinda paused and considered a second, and said, "Oh no, not cold anymore!" And she looked at me with a kind of wonder, like she couldn't believe it.  I just smiled and carried on with lunch - coz I knew she was having an issue reconciling the fact that it worked on her but could she really believe it, coz that might go against her religious beliefs?  

My job is just to help people whenever I can and in whatever way I can.  I am not there to debate in anything sensitive with anyone - I just leave it up to them to think over it, and decide for themselves on how they want to view reiki.

Excuse Me....(The Office continued)

I've been mad busy as hell in the office for the past few days.

My colleague suddenly private chats me on our internal chat system (kinda like yahoo chat).

Colleague:  "Did you feel that? Since so-and-so came in, there has been a sudden drop in the vibe around this area..."

Me: "Can't say I've noticed anything... too busy atm..."

Then out of the blue - it happens.

I got a sense of a person standing to my left - can't tell the age though I think he/she is young-ish - maybe 20/30s, has a shock of short black hair, and light skinned - can't tell ethnicity, and maybe wearing spectacles.

Then he/she says, "Excuse me..." in a barely audible whisper.

Enough to say that it stopped me a moment - coz it truly happened pretty quickly and suddenly.

I didn't engage it coz it really was a busy time. 

Maybe once my spiritual development takes off, I may explore such incidences further....

Spirit Orbs in Singapore?

Some time ago, a friend went to 2 tourist spots in Singapore, and they did the usual thing - taking photos of the scenery, as well as themselves.

I happened to scroll through the pics, and immediately I picked up a variation of spirit orbs.

Arguably, these could also be dust particles or just a dirty camera lens or condension due to the atmosphere or temperature at that particular time, but in each picture, the positions of these orbs or particles differ!

Hence, you be the judge of it and see if you can spot those orbs.

FREE Preview: REIKI Seminar 27th May 2014 (Tue)

Just a quick update for everyone.

The centre that helped facilitate my Reiki training will be holding a FREE Preview next Tuesday May 27th!

Reiki trainer, Ms Keven Duff, will be there to help answer any questions you may have on Reiki, its uses, effects, significance, etc. 

There will also be Reiki volunteers on hand who will give you the Reiki Experience - a session lasting anywhere from 30-60 mins.

Stalked by Moths!

I just spent the better part of the last week, being stalked by moths!

OK let me admit it now - I have a phobia of moths and butterflies. Honestly they freak me out.

So when I started getting followed by moths, it got pretty upsetting for me.

So maybe it's moth mating season (I don't know) but I have had moths suddenly appearing in my room or my daughter's room a lot!

It's been a variety of moths - medium sized ones - some brown and some white.

I decided to ask around - and my Chinese friends mentioned that white moths represent spirits of the recently deceased. Now that kinda brought me back to my recent experience of witnessing the death on 3rd May.  Perhaps there is a restless spirit?

Then as I delved deeper into the significance of moth sightings, I discovered that in certain Western cultures, moths represent heightened psychic awareness and perception.

In a sense, I did have a certain awakening that occurred on a spiritual level last week (this I will divulge in another post when I am ready to), which I believe will set me down my life's path.

Anyways, let me know what you guys think of the significance of moths? I'd like to hear your thoughts!

Space Clearing Spray that Works for me!

OK, so I had the opportunity to go by Sacred Space - this shop that caters to all things spiritual.

They offer services such as tarot reading, fengshui or vaastu consultation and the works.

I was just curious about this spray which they sold called White Sage Spray.

No burning or smoke required! Just spray - a definite plus in my book :)

It is believed that sage has been used for centuries as a natural space clearing remedy.

What is space clearing? 

That's when you clear a space, ie your home, office etc, of negative energies. If there is a some negative energy attached to that particular space, traditionally the burning of sage, or commonly known as smudging, would be used to get rid of those energies.  Smudging came from the Native American tradition. And normally, you'd do it with what is called a Smudge Stick.  You burn in on a small plate, and use a feather to guide the smoke throughout the house or space.

As you all know by now, I sometimes have disturbances at home, because some energies get attracted to the fact that I can sense them (I don't know how they know - must be some metaphysical neon signboard plastered on my head??).

So I have tried some other types of sprays (related to having water read over with verses from holy scriptures) or using a natural product called serai wangi - or better known as citronella, but they didn't have much effect (except on mosquitos).

Out of pure curiousity, I decided to give the White Sage Spray a shot last night.

And would you believe it?  

I had the best sleep ever. 

The room felt the calmest I had ever felt it!

It was just one spray, and there was a noticeable change to the vibe in my bedroom. I felt totally at ease, and I drifted off to sleep without a second thought.

Bliss!

It's All about Balance - more Reiki evidencing...

Some time ago, my uncle and my sister each asked me to do reiki on them, which I gladly did.

So I decided to document some evidence, by way of measuring blood pressure.

I did a 30 mins reiki session on her, and managed to balance her BP, and alleviate a backpain.  She reported the next day that she slept well the entire night -- literally fell into a deep slumber and woke up feeling fresh!

As for my uncle, he suffers from High BP, had some joint issues, mainly knee and ankle (he works out and is a choreographer). I did a 30 minute session with him, and he said that his ankle didn't hurt anymore right immediately after the session!

With reiki, it's all about balancing the body.  Realigning your body to a healthy level, and maintaining that balance. 

I plan to evidence more on the effects of Reiki.  Yes this technique can be used on anyone and everything, animals, plants, fruits, vegetable, water, even help with minor PC issues (yes! It has that capability too - though if your PC is really in need of a major fix - then please call IT! LOL...).

What do I see? And can YOU see too?

Sometimes I get asked by people, how do I see spirits?

Usually, it's just a split second glimpse that I get, mostly out of the corner of my eye.

Like a dark or white shadow zipping past me - up, down, to the side etc.

Then there are the times when I get images in my head.

One time, when I was much younger and still living with my parents in Jurong West, I used to be the last to leave the house in the mornings.

My room door was ajar, and I was facing out into the living room.

There was nobody at home.

Then as I turned to get something, I caught a glimpse of someone standing in front of my room, leaning against a wall. And just watching me.

I distinctly recall it was a young girl - about 12-14 years old, Chinese, with shoulder length hair, standing in a shirt and skirt combination.

Just staring at me.

Of course, when I turned to really get a good look - there was nothing there.

But the feeling remained, that someone was watching me.

I didn't freak out (note: you should never freak out when these things happen - some of the lower level spirits are mischievous and they like to scare people - so don't give them the time of day.)

I just continued on, as if nothing happened.

Then there are times when I see the shadow people.  Tall, big columns of shadow figures - think Darth Maul in his hooded cape thingy, only 8-9 feet tall. 

They just stand in one spot - frozen - those kinda freak me out when I glimpse them but as Singaporean would say - you gotta 'maintain'.

Then there was once, when I was a victim of black magic and possession (that I will tell in another upcoming post), when the healer asked me to concentrate and tell him what it was that was sitting in my body.

I closed my eyes, and focused for abit - then saw the image of a green little goblin-like thing in my mind's eye.  

So that's kind of a technique to 'see'.  

I believe that all of us have this capability to also see through into the spiritual realm - but most of us, just have it in 'shut off' mode. 

But then again, I ask - does everyone really wanna 'see' into that world?  

The Flat at Bedok North Ave 2

In my previous post, I talked about the first time in my old house

That house was a very 'active' house - in the paranormal sense. 

I remember the times my mother would complain about this 'boy' always trying to play with her, by running from the bedroom - she'd literally hear the patter of footsteps - to the kitchen where she was cooking, and then jump right behind her!

It would never fail to scare her!

My dad would sometimes watch TV out in the hall, and lie on the floor, against one of those big old bean bags (they were popular in the early 90s), and sometimes he'd fall asleep. 

One time, he fell asleep again outside in the hall.  Then about midnite, he was awoken by the patter of little feet, and he briefly opened his eyes to see. He saw a pair of small legs walking from my room which I shared with my younger sister, and my dad assumed that it was my sister. 

He mumbled something like, 'Yes girl, you want something?' Then he closed his eyes, and waited for a reply.

When a few heartbeats went by without a reply, he thought it odd and asked again. And this time he woke himself, and sat up. And was shocked to see nobody there! 

My old cat would also get freaked out, and sometimes he'd suddenly wake up from a deep slumber, and run like a crazy person from the room he'd been sleeping in. He'd be all puffed up like a giant grey/white ball of fur and look terribly stressed over something.

Then the time when I came down with terrible tonsilitis, and I fever for 3 days straight. One night was particularly bad, and I thought I was hallucinating things.  I remember I looked up at the ceiling, and there a lumination from the hall light into my room.

I saw a dog walking on my ceiling.

Then I remember I woke with a start from a terrible sleep, and I looked to the floor, and saw a hand with all 5 fingers splayed out (like it was going to grab something) - receding back into the shadows from my bed! 

That was totally freaky.

But I think I was too sick to care much.

We stayed there a good 10 years before we moved out.  On the last day, my mum went around the house taking photos for memories' sake.

Then I remember I went with her to this one room we had that no one stayed in coz there was always an odd feeling in there. 

My mum said this was it's room. And she proceeded to take photos of it, whilst still talking and telling 'it' goodbye.

When we later developed the photos, one looked kinda 'damage'.

Then we realised that it was 'it' saying goodbye!  There is a big trail of smoky substance swirling around the photograph.

I gotta ask my mum if she has that photo still.  If I do ever find it, I'll be sure to post it up at my Facebook Page.

The First Time

The first time I ever became aware of the spirit world was when I was living in this old 4 room flat somewhere in Bedok North Ave 2.

I was about 16, and I recall vividly that I was studying in my room, cramming last minute for a Science exam the next day.

It was about evening time - 6 or 7-ish, and I was alone in my room, sitting on my bed and facing my doorway. My family was outside in the hall or kitchen.

Then I had a sudden urge to look up at my doorway.

And for a second, a face appeared.

My mind didn't really register this as being abnormal somehow, and accepted what it saw.

The face was vivid, albeit grey and colourless and see-through, and I recall the eyes and the mouth to be big gaping black holes.  

Instinctively, I knew it was a young boy. I just knew.

It only happened for a split second, but that image has stuck in my mind for the almost 2 decades.

Change Your Life with Reiki - effects that I have witnessed

Since I graduated my reiki course in Nov 2013, I have been quietly reiki-ing my hubby - initially without his knowing - as he had once told me he truly didn't believe in it, and even thought it was some sort of cult!

Somehow, I thought it might benefit him in some way, so I just began to reiki him, just by placing a gentle hand on his lap or his arm, as we sat together watching TV.

A month passed, and suddenly, he pronounced that he would quit smoking cold turkey!

Now, he had always told me he wanted to quit, but it would always be a half-hearted attempt that lasted a week at best.

So when he mentioned it again, I was like, OK that's great - let's see how long this lasts.

But he finally did quit - and hasn't had a fag since!  He even began hating the scent of cigarette smoke.

The next interesting effect on him was when he suddenly became quite keen on starting an exercise programme - he started reading into running and cycling, and couldn't seem to decide which he wanted to delve into.

So he started to do both!

This happened 2 months after my secret reiki treatments on him.  I wouldn't have believed it if it didn't happen before my eyes!

You see, he is more a couch potato kinda guy.  When he was in his teens, he did participate actively in sports and went competitive for a bit, but dropped out of it once he started working. That's been more than 15 years! 

Reiki just gave him the kick he needed.

And recently, about 2 weeks ago, he made another pronouncement.  He'd be taking up yoga and cutting back on red meats - so now he is semi-vegetarian!

He'd always been a steak and potatoes person - so this was really surprising.

Another breakthrough he had when he did his yoga (which I went with him) - he got in touch with his spiritual side - and was really left flabbergasted by the experience.  The yoga we did, not only touched on the physical aspects, but also touched on the meditative points - and that clearly woke his soul up.  He couldn't stop gushing over his experience with me, and it gave me the chance to let him know it was okay, and not some mumbo jumbo imagined thing.

My hubby is a realist, and pragmatist - and spiritual things had never made sense to him - so discussing such matters with him would be considered taboo.

Now I can have an easy conversation with him on spiritual matters, and he'd be more open to the topic, and join in the discussion or debate.

If you asked me, reiki rocks!

Reiki Healing with some hard evidencing.

I wanted to write about this, but always seemed to forget or was simply too busy.

About 3 weeks ago, my hubby had a minor cycling accident. He cycled right into a small drain, and fell off his bike, sustaining a big ugly bleeding scratch on his calf.

He came home, and sat there looking at the wound, and I offered reiki.

One thing about my hubby - he isn't a believer of reiki at all. He's the type that needs to see hard evidence, but he said ok whatever, do your magic.

So I laid his injured calf over my legs, snapped a pic of his calf, turned on the TV and placed my hands on the scratch - and watched the show that was on, not thinking of anything.  I promptly dozed off after 5 mins, with both hands still firmly clasped on his injury.

By the time I woke up about 15 mins later, I didn't even take a look at his injury and just got up, and decided to do other stuff.

5 mins later, my hubby yelled for me.

"Sweetheart! Come here! Look at this!"

I ran over, thinking something bad had happened. Then I saw him looking at me with big eyes, and he pointed to his calf. "What did you do??"

I took one look at his calf, not understanding what was being said, coz it looked the same to me. Then he mentioned, that he had made an observation off his wound before I reiki-ed him, and that the big V shape was gone!

It seemed that reiki was assisting to jumpstart and accelerate the healing process of the injury - hence you start to see new scabs forming.  And this was happening within 15 mins of reiki.

Truly amazing!

The result of this is that my hubby now allows me to reiki him more but he still doesn't want to fully believe in it.  Maybe one day soon, he might take it up himself! :)

Most Traumatic Experience I wouldn't Wish on Anyone.....

I wished that yesterday hadn't happened the way it did.

I woke up on Saturday, May 3rd, about 8.37am.

Then I walked out into my living room, and gave my hubby a morning kiss, and got to my PC.  Kids were already busying themselves with play.

As I sat at my PC - still 1/4 asleep - I had an urge to turn to my left, where I could look into my kitchen, and where I could see outside to the next block, since my windows were wide open.

The light looked odd somehow, like a silvery bright white/grey awash over everything.  It was like everything was drained of colour.  And I began to feel something weird was going to happen. I remember I looked over to the windows twice, just to make sure I was seeing right.

Brushing off that feeling, I flicked my PC on.

2 minutes later, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a black shadow swoosh upwards past the window, followed a nano-second later by a loud, cracking THUD.

I immediately thought, 'Someone fell,' and hurried to the window. I looked down directly, and felt a small relief when I only saw a construction worker standing around, and no one lying on the ground. So initially I thought the loud thud was part of the construction works going on at the time.

But my relief was very shortlived.

I noticed that the construction worker was standing, frozen, and staring into one direction.

Then I looked at the opposite block, and saw one of the regular old uncles, standing and also staring in the same direction.

Perhaps my eyes didn't want me to see, or my brain didn't want to deal with it.

I glanced slowly to the same direction - barely 5 meters away from where the uncle was - and saw it.

The body.

Twisted, at such an awkward angle, and blood had just begun to pour out of the head, running into the drain nearby.

Half a heartbeat later, I turned and screamed to my hubby, "OH MY GOD - someone committed suicide!" I ran for my phone and immediately dialed for the police. It seemed surreal that the police probably got the first emergency call on this from me. 

My hubby ran to get the kids, so that they wouldn't see anything. Then we just stood together, and hugged a very long time, my hubby and I shaking uncontrollably from the shock.

We were pretty traumatised the whole day after that, and it is only now that I have the sense of mind to sit down and write this post.

Afterward, as I confided with my reiki advisor on this matter, she told me to immediately reiki all the points of entry into my home - the windows, the doors, etc.

I asked why, and she replied, usually with suicides or horrible deaths, the spirit will look for help to cross over, and she knew that I was in absolutely no state to help anything or anyone at that moment.

So to keep our sanity in place, I reiki-ed all the entry points in my home - funnily enough, in my mind's eye, I knew the reiki energy was building up walls of protection around my home, and my mind interpreted it as having samurai sentries in full gear (like below) standing guard all round my house. It was a weird and strange imagery. But it helped to calm me down somewhat.

As I reiki-ed away, I applied words of prayer on top of it, and also asked God for His protection.

I also prayed for peace to everyone who was affected by this traumatic event, and hoped that God would guide the deceased to peace.
